Dear colleagues, It is our great honor to invite you to participate in the "3rd Romanian Conference on Medical Physics including CFMR`s Annual Meeting" in Sibiu, Romania from 22nd to 23rd September 2012. This National Conference of Medical Physics takes place in Sibiu and is organized by the Romanian College of Medical Physicists (CFMR). It is essential that all stakeholders in medical physics ensure that proper education and training are in place, in particular with regard to new technologies and complex medical exposure procedures that have been developed in the past years and that are introduced into clinical practice at a rapid pace. This event offers an excellent opportunity to exchange experience and ideas between professionals well known across Europe and beyond. With great pleasure we invite you to have this important event in Sibiu and will ensure that your participation will contribute significantly to the success of event. Sibiu is one of the most important cultural centers of Romania, placed in the heart of Transylvania, and was designated a European Capital of Culture for the year 2007. 3rd Romanian Conference on Medical Physics incorporating:
The expansion and consolidation of the union of countries across Europe has increased our opportunities for new knowledge in the field of medical physics. Consequently the aims of the 2012 conference are:

*Full time students (not including PhD and postdocs) MUST provide proof of full time status when submitting registration form and payment (copy of valid student ID card or letter from affiliated institution head or program director)
**On-site registration will be possible for a fee of € 75, until the maximum capacity of the conference room. ECMP fee includes:
- Access to Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception (Saturday 22nd September)
- Access to Closing Ceremony
- Entry to all conference sessions each day
- Daily morning and afternoon refreshments (coffe, tea, water, juice, snacks, etc.)
- Conference Materials including Programme with CD of abstracts and Proceedings, name badge, conference bag.
- Sibiu Tour
Payment details: The conference fee is payable in advance and the scanned receipt is to be sent as attachment to the confirmation template by September 17th, 2012 (please mention “ECMP2012”, your name and “registration”). Will be transferred on CFMR bank account.
Conference Venue
The scientific meeting will take place in the center of Sibiu at the BETTA Conference Room from Ramada Hotel. The auditorium is located right in the city centre and is very good accessible by public transport. A public car park is available in a building next door.
